Slick AF With It. Also, A Witch.
Wait, What Now?
You may be thinking I'm going to tell you that witchcraft doesn't exist, but I'm not a cap rapper. My Team thinks I'm a little crazy, but I have to keep them on their toes, or else they might slack off.
When you think of black witches, you might think of the devil or darkness. One is true in my case and the other isn't. IDGAF about Satan. I don't answer to men (anyone). The darkness part is the true part.
Because my darkness goes so deep, a few years ago, I had this idea to become the Sylvia Plath of rap, trap and hip hop. What if music was about the perception of existence as we know it? What if the lyrics mentioned those subjects we don't want to confront because we are afraid? What if the world you live in, this world, was in truth, vastly different than the world you'd always been led to believe it was?
Would you listen to big questions spit raw on to beats that transcend our genres and labels. What if music was a spell from me to you? What if I offered you a slice of my mind and presented it to you for your own consideration? Would you be open to my pain, privilege and past? Will what I've learned in my time on this planet matched what you have learned here during your time? I highly doubt you're half as dark (and sometimes bitter and dangerous as me),,, at least I hope you aren't. Darkness like this should only be present in a select few and only a few per generation or we'd have everyone training to become the best villain they can be. Maybe one day, I'll tell you how I came to be here...
